The Derby Fizz cocktail is a traditional Royal Fizz-type shaken cocktail that is made with a whole egg. The cocktail is also made with Scotch whisky, orange liqueur (such as triple sec or curacao), sugar, lemon juice, and soda water. It is served over ice in a tall glass such as a collins glass. The finished drink will have a yellow egg-yolk color, as well as a distinctive egg flavor.
